My name is Berenice and I am proud to share my Mexican culture and traditions with you. Together with my German husband, we founded the company FairMex in Munich in mid-2021. Our heart beats for handmade, traditional Mexican products, which we source with love and care from fair trade. Our most popular products include handwoven and embroidered pillowcases and table runners, which are handmade by indigenous tribes. In addition, our Mexican huaraches (leather sandals) and handmade hats are absolute eye-catchers.
Our mission: sustainability and uniqueness
FairMex is not just about selling decorative items - it's about a journey through the colorful world of Mexico. It is important to us to act fairly and to maintain personal contact with our artisans. That's why we only source our goods from individuals, small working groups and small companies from Mexico, including indigenous tribes. We want to support these talented people in the long term and at the same time offer unique products.
The Magic of Handcraft
Our products are not mass-produced. They are made in Mexico by experienced artisans with great dedication and old traditional working techniques. Sometimes they even use tools that come from the Mayas, Aztecs and other cultures. Each piece tells a story and carries the soul of Mexico within it.

Our hats are handcrafted by our artisans in Guadalajara, Mexico. For generations, high-quality hats in various shapes and colors have been made there. We pay attention to the highest quality and to ensuring that our artisans are paid fairly. Whether it's a fedora, yute, boater, cowboy or unusual hats - there's something for everyone!
